Tanggal 29 Desember 2008 M kemarin adalah tahun baru Hijriah 1 Muharam 1430 H. Maknanya sangat terkait dengan peristiwa Hijrahnya Rasulullah SAW dari Makkah ke Madinah pada tanggal 16 Juli 622 M. Secara harfiah peristiwa itu sepertinya hanya suatu perjalanan fisik. Namun lebih dari itu Hijrah memiliki misi dakwah. Secara makna Islami itu merupakan fakta sejarah dalam memperbaiki kualitas kehidupan ummat Islam. Peristiwa itu juga merupakan tonggak kebangkitan Islam yaitu membangun kekuatan akidah, persatuan ummat dan lahirnya masyarakat madani. Ketika sampai di Madinah, Rasulullah melakukan syiar Islam dengan cepat lewat masjid yang dibangunnya. Dari masjid itu Rasulullah mengembangkan jiwa umat dengan memperkuat akidah, ibadah, akhlak, keadilan, kesetaraan, persaudaraan dan berlomba-lomba melakukan kebaikan dan meninggalkan kemungkaran.

Have you ever seen the houses around Bogor city? If you have, you would notice the differences of styles. On the right and left sides of Suryakencana and Sukasari Streets, you would find Chinatown’s styles. There is no garden at all in front of their homes. But when you look at the houses on Taman Kencana area or Pemuda Street area, you would find big homes and beautiful gardens, with wide roads along across them. It’s Dutch’s style.
